1.6.10
- fixed infinite reload timeout - kelvin unit support - code cleanup - reduced OWM crashing (still happening though)
Don't use this! It's unmantined. Instead use Weather widget 2 ( https://store.kde.org/p/1683743/ ) . It had many bugfixes and supports Open Weather and Met.no sources and removed broken YR.NO
Sorry to inform developers that data from yr.no don't work anymore.
Trying to set data from aformentioned site and clicking icon on taskbar shows a banner saying:
"This forecast widget is being discontinued.
See developer.yr.no for more information about the discontinuation and available widgets"
Data from OWM, instead, work as usual...
Same, widget no longer working. Says widget 'discontinued' but gives developer.yr.no link for info. No idea where you would put the .svg file referenced.
1010 the best - new yr.no url is not working. Here is a fix go to retro.yr.no. Search the city there. Copy the url. Now you will get the link as https://retro.yr.no/place/Country/Location. Change it to http://www.yr.no/place/Country/Location. Vola It works. The last commit on this widget was on OCT 2017 but still working strong. My favourite widget.
6I have same problem with yr.no - widget can't use new URL for city. And fix from comments with link editing doesn't work for me. But OWM still works and I don't think that author will fix it.
10And there is also a pressure conversation bug:
When it's converted from hPa to mmHg it adds one more unit plus to current:

That's how it looks like:

And that's what the actual meaning is:

As you can see it's ~13mm+ of the actual one.
Hi there! Found a bug but didn't have time to report it till now, here it is:
When you hover pointer on the widget it appears and disappears immediately on the first time you hover it when it was updated in the background, that's what it looks like: https://i.imgur.com/2uyRdVl.gif
It lasts circa since plasma .20 or something.
I'm on neon stable with plasma .21 and the latest KDE updates and it's still here.
Please update as you have time to. Thank you.
550/50 - OWM works fine, but yr.no doesn't work for my city: www.yr.no/place doesn't exist anymore. Modern site reffer to www.yr.no/en/forecast/ and exist old design in retro.yr.no/place/
I was try both, but widget got only new URL (as example) https://www.yr.no/en/forecast/daily-table/2-2946447/Germany/North%20Rhine-Westphalia/Cologne%20District/Bonn and show nothing. retro.yr.no not accepted
i was found the way to hack this issue. Default page accepted but dont work: https://www.yr.no/en/forecast/daily-table/2-698740/Ukraine/Odessa/Odes%E2%80%99ka%20Mis%E2%80%99krada/Odessa
Retro page was not accepted: https://retro.yr.no/place/Ukraine/Odessa/Odessa/
I modify link to that: https://www.yr.no/place/Ukraine/Odessa/Odessa/
And it's work.
10FYI MANJARO KDE USERS: install the qt5-xmlpatterns package from the Community repository first and this widget will then work normally. Just tested and confirmed on Manjaro 20.1.2 Mikah (latest as of posting).

Same here, widget no longer working with yr.no, had to switch to OWM, which is a bit worse than yr.no. Any chance of updating the widget?

10 This widget was suitable for my city.
Great widget! But why can't I add extended view (the one opened on click) as a standalone widget on desktop?
